Freelance Cake Artist and confectioner Janel Rhymer, serves as Founder, Baker and Cake Artist of Holy Sweets NYC. Beginning her career in food insecurity working to help end hunger within NYC.
She began baking as a hobby in her spare time for friends and family. Ultimately, following her passion for creating luxury custom cakes and treats. Her inventive designs and exceptional tasty cakes began to attract a lot of attention, leading her to open Holy Sweets NYC in 2019.
Not stopping there, she found a drive to teach other bakers new to the baking world, to help them perfect their skills, ultimately growing their business and knowledge within the cake industry. Janel’s custom cakes and treats are currently available through private ordering and select stores in
